# Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.

## Our standard

We design and test the website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

## How we test

Every page, in English and in Spanish, is checked with automated accessibility tests at desktop and phone screen sizes, and by keyboard. The checks cover text contrast, text alternatives for images, headings and page regions, form labels, a visible focus indicator, a link that skips straight to the main content, layouts that reflow on small screens and with enlarged text, and moving content that can be paused. Animation stops when your device is set to reduce motion, and the video on the home page has no sound.

## Known limitations

Some documents on the website, such as PDF articles and rankings published by third parties, may not be fully accessible. If you need one of them in another format, ask us and we will send you the content in a form you can use.
