Cristina is a business-oriented attorney who focuses on financing rounds, corporate structures, M&A, lending transactions, joint ventures, shareholder and operating agreements and contract disputes, particularly for technology companies, startups, venture capital funds and angel groups in the U.S. and in Latin America. Cristina regularly helps companies prepare Series A documents, SAFES, convertible notes, capitalization tables, stock plans and employment arrangements, and assists with general technology and commercial arrangements and “flips” from local Latin American to International structures.

Prior to joining NEXT LEGAL, Cristina completed an MBA, and served as a judicial law clerk at the Court of Appeals of Puerto Rico where she worked with various judges drafting court opinions on cases related to criminal law, civil law, family law, corporate law and torts, among others. Earlier in her career, Cristina worked as a media executive in various advertising agencies managing accounts of large multinational clients, handling large media budgets, contracting with different media companies and negotiating deals for clients.
