Corina Gugler

Corina is a multilingual corporate counsel with over 15 years of global experience across top international law firms and a leading nonprofit.

She is dually trained in civil and common law and has extensive experience advising clients on cross-border M&A, private equity and financing transactions, venture capital, contracts, corporate governance, data privacy and security, intellectual property, and other complex business transactions. She has handled transactions throughout the United States, Latin America, and Europe, in a broad range of sectors, including technology, energy, banking & finance, real estate and food & beverage. She is known for being a highly skilled corporate attorney and relationship builder with the ability to understand business needs and find creative solutions.

Prior to joining NEXT Legal, she was a senior counsel at UNICEF (a multi-billion dollar global enterprise) where she advised executives, senior leaders, and business teams on a broad range of complex cross-border legal matters.

Earlier in her career, she was an attorney at two top international law firms in New York (Simpson Thacher and Bartlett LLP and Debevoise and Plimpton LLP) where she focused on M&A and other corporate matters, and international dispute resolution, with a particular emphasis in Latin America.

Corina received her law degree from University of Vienna and her LL.M. from New York University School of Law, where she focused on international dispute resolution and international commercial law.

Corina’s native languages are German, Spanish, and Portuguese, she is fluent in English and speaks basic French. She is admitted to practice law in New York and Florida.
