Nicolas strives to provide value to our clients by helping them accomplish their capital raising, growth and other business goals, as efficiently as possible without compromising excellence.
He focuses on cross-border corporate and financial transactions, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital. His experience as a corporate and securities attorney spans private and public offerings of debt and equity and liability management and restructuring transactions, by both private and public-sector issuers.
Nicolas has handled transactions throughout Latin America, the United States and Europe, in a broad range of sectors including banking & finance, technology, energy, real estate and food & beverage. In addition, Nicolas regularly advises clients on general corporate matters, commercial arrangements and international disputes.
Prior to joining NEXT Legal, Nicolas worked for major New York/global law firms including Cleary Gottlieb (2013-2019) and DLA Piper (2019-2022). Earlier in his career, Nicolas worked at the Latin America Legal Department of Motorola Solutions, Inc. in the United States.
EXPERIENCE includes representing* :
- Grupo Bafar, in a private placement of notes to finance its operations and capital expenditures
- Elevva Holdings Limited, in a loan agreement governed by New York law secured by assets located throughout Latin America
- Alsea, in its debt restructuring and related US$500 million senior notes offering under Rule 144A / Reg S
- Edenor (NYSE: EDN), the largest electricity distribution company in Argentina, in its mandatory tender offer for shares (2021), and voluntary exchange offers for senior notes under Rule 144A / Reg S (2022)
- Globant (NYSE: GLOB), in its follow-on SEC-registered public offering of common shares
- The Argentine Provinces of Mendoza, Chubut, Salta, Entre Rios and Chaco, in their New York law-governed debt restructurings
- Raghsa S.A., a leading Argentine real estate developer, in its liability management transactions
- Certain sovereign issuers, in their SEC-registered debt offerings and related liability management transactions
